macOS Catalina brings a small, but important update to Mac Firmware Password mechanism: you can now opt-out (and back in) from password reset mechanism used by AppleCare (see https://t.co/Y4AaGuJojC for it's guts).

Sure…by setting a firmware password first so that your managed machines are managed by you. MDM added the ability to set a fwpass a couple years ago IIRC.
