The other day, coreboot 4.1 was released. The coreboot blog recently summarized some recent new changes and features, covering 4.1 up to current (commit 406effd5). Summarizing new features and support:
* 1 new chipset: Intel Skylake SoC
* 4 mobos: google/cyan, intel/kunimitsu, intel/sklrvp, and intel/strago
* Some build script improvements.
* USB host drivers in libpayload have multiple improvements.
* Changes to the CBFS format.
* Many bugfixes, especialy in ARM64 and Nvidia Tegra210, and Google Foster and Smaug boards.

There’s also a “summer of code” for coreboot, with multiple projects, that’ve been happening for weeks now. I’ve not covered those yet, I was going to wait for the end-of-Summer, but if you haven’t looked at the projects, they’re in older entries in the coreboot blog.
