FWIW location tracking is baked into Qualcomm basebands. Even if you have a clean OS and no tracking apps, the baseband does it. The data is commercially available: https://t.co/wKEl2TkyqA https://t.co/UuI9krPqEl

It can be disabled but then the GPS takes a ridiculously long time to lock on which is particularly important for us without a network-based location service like Apple and Google.
